High on our agenda is a vision to communicate the love of God through practical action. Nowhere is this more important than where children are concerned.

Lordsway Ministries has an entire department dedicated to the care and support of children and families in crisis. We have a dedicated team of volunteers administrating support for and visiting over 100 families in the Copperbelt and beyond.
There are three arms to this department. CiCA (Children in Crisis Africa) which was started in partnership with a UK based church and charity, is primarily a child sponsorship project but also assists families in need in a number of imaginative ways. This ministry is the brainchild of our mercy ministry director, Erica Lugg (pictured).

We also administrate funds for a UK based organisation called African Child Trust, who aim to sponsor fatherless children through to the completion of their education.
We have also recently begun working in partnership with a new UK charity, Starfish, which is providing funding for students to go into further and higher education - a great opportunity since the costs of such education are prohibitive for the vast majority of potential students.
Finally because we don’t just want to be receivers of overseas aid we organise practical help for families funded by gifts given by our church members. This usually takes the form of food and household goods which we purchase on a month by month basis to assist in emergency situations.
